Getting listed in Discover

The two ways to get your server into Discover — Level 2 boost or Business Class — and the steps to turn on the listing.

Discover is the directory of public servers on TEBHOS; newcomers find communities there and join with one click. There are two ways to get your server listed in Discover.

Requirements

Your server must meet one of these two conditions:

  • Level 2 boost — at least 25 active boosts on the server (see Boost levels), or
  • Business Class — a Business Class subscription bought by the server owner (see Business Class). Business Class servers are additionally listed in their own Business Class tab in Discover.

The server must also comply with the Community Guidelines and be run as an open community. Servers hosting prohibited or age-restricted content are not listed.

Turning on the Discover listing

  1. Open Server Settings → Discover.
  2. Write a short description of the server and pick the most fitting category (gaming, education, creators, technology and so on). The description is shown on your card in the directory.
  3. Turn on List in Discover and save.

Your server stays in the directory as long as it meets the requirements. If the level drops or Business Class ends, the listing switches off automatically; when the condition is met again, it comes back with your settings unchanged.

Being more visible

  • Keep your description clear and short; use the words people would type into the search box.
  • The server icon, banner and invite background set the first impression (see Invite background and banner).
  • Partner servers are listed in Discover with a partner badge; see Applying to the Partner Programme for the conditions.

Removal from Discover

Servers found to violate the rules can be removed from Discover without warning; the server itself is not closed. To appeal a removal, the server owner can write to [email protected].
